Council on Aging Services are made possible in Custer County through the Area 1 Agency on Aging and County tax dollars.

AAAs administer Older Americans Act programs and are your local contact for aging services.  Services are available to anyone sixty (60) years of age or older and their spouse regardless of age.  Services under the Older Americans Act have no income guidelines, all programs are open to and encourage contributions by the participants.

• Skilled Nurse

• Homemaker

• Personal Care Services

The goal of this program is to keep Senior's in their home as long as possible.

Services include skilled nurse assessments, vital signs assessments, med set ups, blood draws, assistance with personal care, light housekeeping, laundry.
