Custer County Public Health Nursing Department protects health, prevents disease, and promotes health and well being for all persons.  Our focus is on the Custer County population as a whole, and we conduct our activities through a network of public health professionals throughout the community.  Access to affordable contraception, vaccinating our children and health education are examples of public health measures fundamental to good health.  This site provides information about programs and interventions conducted by the Custer County Public Health Nursing Department and community partners that aim to promote and improve the health and well being for all residents of Custer County and Surrounding areas.
